Coconut Cigars

Its a simple recipe very easy to do for that moments that we have unexpected guests.


Coconut Cigars 3 eggs
4 tablespoons margarine
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 lemons (peel)
200-300 grams of flour
oil for frying
bag of coconut (100g)
For the syrup
1/2 litre of water
2-cup of sugar

Preparing the dough

In a large bowl, pour in the eggs, sugar, lemon peel, baking powder and margarine, mix everything well. Gradually add the flour, mixing until it forms a non-sticky dough.

How to prepare the sauce

Bring the water to the boil with the sugar until it bubbles making, but without making caramel sauce keep warm, to involve in after sticks of fried.


Don't let the cigars fry for too long so they have the golden color.
